University Outreach Committee
YMF is an avid supporter of the development and achievements of our local universities. By connecting with Cal State University Fullerton (CSUF), Cal State University Long Beach (CSULB), and the University of California Irvine (UCI), we are able to help bridge the gap between the academic and professional world for students aspiring to be young engineers. Our range of involvement includes supporting, promoting and attending student chapter events, holding resume workshops and job fairs, helping set up technical tours at local engineering firms and facilities, and presenting educational lectures regarding various topics surrounding our engineering profession. In addition, we help support the Pacific Southwest Regional Conference by means of project assistance, compliance, and more.
