ASCE SOCIETY
The American Society of Civil Engineers represents more than 150,000 members of the civil engineering profession in 177 countries. Founded in 1852, ASCE is the nation’s oldest engineering society.

YOUNGER MEMBER RESOURCES
ASCE creates new opportunities for engagement of students, young professionals and emerging leaders through new and positive experiences. Younger Member Resources provide more educational and professional development opportunities for younger members and to enhance the opportunities for younger members to interact with other members and to participate in Orange County, LA Section, Region 9, and Society events.

YOUNGER MEMBER COUNCILS
Participate in a Younger Member Council and give Younger Members a voice in the organization. ASCE Councils help you discover, explore, and capitalize on endless opportunities to grow as a professional and a person.

COMMITTEE ON YOUNGER MEMBERS
The Committee on Younger Members (CYM) shall focus on matters of the professional development of civil engineers 35 years of age and younger and facilitate their engagement with and participation in the Society. CYM supports all ASCE early-career younger members, Younger Member Groups and the Younger Member Councils. Terms are three (3) years following one (1) year as an active corresponding member. You must be 35 or younger at the time of appointment.

CIVIL ENGINEERING SOURCE
Civil Engineering magazine is the flagship publication of ASCE. It has two arms: Civil Engineering Online, which publishes near-daily content in the form of news, features, and departments; and the print magazine, which publishes a range of print-first features and departments in six issues a year. These print articles also publish online as part of Civil Engineering Online.

INFRASTRUCTURE REPORT CARD
Every 4 years, the ASCE Report Card for America's Infrastructure assesses the infrastructure & assigns grades based on its condition & investments needed. Similarly, Region 9 (California) Infrastructure Report Card identifies the engineering issues related to the proposed development and highlights the civil works that will be necessary to ensure that the proposed infrastructure and activities can be adequately serviced.

ORANGE COUNTY HISTORIC LANDMARKS
ASCE Orange County's History and Heritage Committee since 1982 have been actively seeking and reviewing important Civil Engineering projects that have been constructed in Orange County, California, and that are considered worthy of being nominated as Historic Civil Engineering Landmarks.

ASCE TECHNICAL INSTITUTES
