ASCE Orange County thanks you for your consideration in sponsoring Engineers Week, which promotes STEM learning for K-12 and college students, particularly from disadvantaged backgrounds, and provide meaningful networking opportunities for early career and seasoned engineers. This week-long event features professional panels, discussions, and hands-on activities designed to celebrate the work engineers do. Your sponsorship will provide essential supplies and food for attendees, while also offering your organization recognition and exposure. ANNUAL E-WEEK EVENTS
MINDFUL MONDAY set the tone for the week by emphasizing mental health and mindfulness practices. These sessions reminded university students and younger members that innovation thrives when engineers prioritize balance and resilience, helping them manage stress and stay focused on their goals.

TRIVIA TUESDAY energized the community with interactive trivia challenges, reinforcing technical knowledge and sparking curiosity about engineering principles and breakthroughs. Participants enjoyed friendly competition while learning fun facts about engineering history and modern innovations.

WELFARE WEDNESDAY focused on health and safety, highlighting the importance of creating environments where engineers can work and learn effectively. The day included a community service activity where younger members created STEM-Themed Greeting Cards for Hospitalized Kids, combining creativity with care and bring joy to children in the hospital.

THRIVE THURSDAY delivered career development resources and networking opportunities, empowering community college students to build strong pathways toward leadership and success. The "Navigating Your Future" Panel allowed younger members with similar experiences share insights on transfer pathways, internships, and strategies for thriving in engineering.

FUTURE FRIDAY explored emerging technologies and trends, inspiring participants to envision their role in shaping the next generation of engineering solutions. The main highlight of the day is welcoming K-12 students for a guided tour of a local engineering facility, giving them a firsthand look at real-world applications and sparking early interest in STEM careers.

SUSTAINABILITY SATURDAY closed the week with a focus on eco-conscious practices, reinforcing the responsibility engineers have in designing a sustainable future. Participants explored Orange County’s scenic bike trails, combining outdoor activity with discussions on sustainable transportation and green engineering solutions.
