People, communities, and engineers can shape a greener and more sustainable future. All we have to do is make sure to protect the world we live in and not let anything harm it. We can do this by not littering and instead by recycling all the trash that might end up in the oceans. We can also help by planting more trees, which would help increase the oxygen in the atmosphere. Any little bit that we can do will benefit the earth we live in greatly. Our planet matters because without it, we wouldn't have a place to live, water to drink, or food to eat. If we harm our planet, where are we supposed to live? No one would be able to survive in any other place. Earth is the only planet suitable for life. This is why we have to make sure we take care of our planet, or as many people will say, " Our home."

Human choices shape our world greatly. For example, if people don't care and just throw trash everywhere, then that trash could end up in the oceans, and that trash will end up hurting sea life, and we do not want that to happen. But if people want to make the world a better place, then instead of throwing their trash away, they will recycle it, or they can plant trees instead of chopping them down. Then, with no doubt, we would have a better place. There would be no sea life getting harmed, and there would be more fresh oxygen in the world.
Our job is to protect the Earth and the environment, and right now we are not doing a very good job. I can see all around the world that animals are getting endangered, and we are the cause of that. We are the reason that animals do not have a suitable habitat. We will be the reason that there will be no animals left on this world as we know it. This is why we have to do something. We have to be the reason for the change. If we don't do anything, then no one else will. This is why I think we should recycle, reduce, and reuse. I always love to use those three words. Those are the words that keep everyone going. Everyone knows that we have a duty in this world. We have to be the people who make the change.

One big difference that people can make to make a change is by celebrating Earth Day. Earth Day is the day that everyone can celebrate Earth, also known as our lovely home. I am so grateful that I get the chance to celebrate something so important, but even though Earth Day is only once a year, I celebrate the Earth the whole year. Since the Earth is not something you can only celebrate on one day, it is something that you should be celebrating for your whole life. This is the earth we are so lucky to have.
