Join ASCE OC YMF’s JEDI Committee for the first installment of their virtual JEDI Literacy Sessions on Wednesday, October 30th! The topic is the Role of Social Equity in Infrastructure with an industry panel moderated by Juan Alonso of Jacobs! There will be insightful conversations discussing the role of the infrastructure industry in promoting social, racial, environmental, and economic justice in the communities it serves.

Isamar Escobar is a Civil Engineer in Highway Construction with the Federal Highway Administration – Western Federal Lands Highway Division where she provides on-site administration of construction contracts. She works to improve transportation to and within Federal and Tribal Lands by providing technical services to the highway/transportation community, as well as building accessible and scenic roads that ensure that many national treasures within our federal lands can be enjoyed by all.
