Marionne Philline Lapitan is a Traffic/ITS Engineer at Jacobs. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) in 2019 and her Master's Degree in Civil Engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (CPP) in 2023. Actively involved in professional organizations as a student, serving as the ASCE CSULB Co-President (2018-2019), she joined ASCE Orange County and APWA Southern California to continue to make a difference in her community through the civil engineering/public works industry in hopes of building a brighter future for the next generation. She is passionate about designing and building communities, both structurally and socially. Seeing the profession foster a positive difference in her life inspired her to further promote the civil engineering profession to a broader audience beyond academia.

She currently serves as the ASCE Orange County Younger Member Forum 2024-2025 President and APWA Southern California Young Professionals Committee Outreach Chair. She co-founded the ASCE CSULB Dream Big: A K-12 Civil Engineering Outreach Event in 2018 and has continued to guide and support her alma mater as they promote the profession to K-12 and university students. She aims to continue to empower, encourage, and uplift others to recognize their abilities and ultimately conquer with a positive purpose.

In her free time, Marionne enjoys traveling, hiking, watching movies, graphic designing, and anything that involves being creative.
