The Sustainability Committee of ASCE Orange County organized a scenic bike ride on Saturday, August 23rd along the San Juan Creek Trail to Dana Point Harbor.

Twelve cyclists gathered at the newly renovated Los Rios Historical Park in San Juan Capistrano. From there, they biked along the San Juan Creek Trail to Doheny Beach.
The group stopped at the creek outlet for a photo and a brief orientation about the creek’s capacity improvement project.
The ride continued along the beach to Dana Point Harbor Road, following a scenic route to the northern end of the harbor near the Ocean Institute. Cyclists enjoyed bagels and coffee at the waterfront Coffee Importers café.
“We spent a good time networking and meeting other cyclists!”
Stay tuned for the next bike ride, scheduled for Saturday, September 27.
