ASCE OC University Outreach: Mock Interview Workshop
On February 7th, ASCE OC University Outreach hosted the annual Mock Interview Workshop at the Geocon office in Irvine. The event was a great way for students to practice their interviewing skills with different outreach chairs and volunteers, and to learn about the types of questions that may be asked during an interview. ASCE OC Community Service: E-Week 2026 Welfare Wednesday – Creating STEM Greeting Cards for Hospitalized Kids
E-Week features many initiatives to empower future engineers. One way we do this is through service, and making these greeting cards was the perfect way to impact our communities while adding in a bit of STEM flair. This tour, held during Engineer's Week, brought high school students from the surrounding area to be able to see the Orange County Water District’s facility. Here, they got to learn about what OCWD does in filtering water from OC Sanitation to be ready for groundwater replenishment.
